Computer Class Schedule

Please Sign Up Online or call (617) 796-1380 to register, or speak to a Reference Librarian at one of our information desks. 
Pre-registration is required for each class.  Classes are held in the Computer Center on the second floor unless otherwise noted.

Powerpoint
An overview of the fundamentals required for creating and modifying basic slide presentations. Learn how to navigate through a presentation and create, edit, format, view, print and review slide presentations. Attendees will be asked to sign up with the Employment and Training Resources to receive the training.

iPad level 1
This class is for beginners. We cover very basic functions of the iPad. Starting with identifying all the buttons and learning terminology. The objective is to make new iPad user more comfortable their device.

3D Design for Adults
Learn how to design 3D objects using design software and print them on the 3D printer. By designing simple objects and printing them, you'll get a basic understanding of the tools both for design and 3D printing.

Adult level classes are designed specifically for age 18 and above.   Registration for adult classes is limited to this age group.  Please consult the calendar of events for program and class opportunities for adults, teens and children.

You may now print documents from your email-enabled device using HP’s eprint technology.

 

How to send a print job:  Send your print job as an attachment by email to this recipient

 

nfl1_eprint@hpeprint.com

 

Then go to the First Floor Reference Desk to pick up your printout.

 

**Printouts are single-sided and in color. 

 

ALSO NOTE:  There is a 5 MB limit to the email size and a 5MB limit to each attachment. HP ePrint supports a maximum of

10 attachments to a single email. Emails that exceed these limits will not print.

 

Cost:

Predominantly black & white:

 10 cents per sheet.

 

Predominantly color (one or more color pictures/photos):

25 cents per sheet.

Please pay at the Circulation Desk.

 

**You will be charged for each page that prints.
