Freading

Thousands of eBooks. No Waiting*

Go To: https://newtonfreelibrary.freading.com with your Newton Free Library card and start reading!

Freading is available on all tablets, computers, smartphones and the Kindle Fire*

What do the numbers in a circle mean on the books?

These numbers are how many Tokens the book takes to download.  Every week you get 5 tokens.  When you choose a book, the amount of tokens labeled on the book is deducted from your account.

Unused tokens roll over each week for a four week period, the week starting Monday morning just after midnight.

Can I renew a Book?

You may renew any book you have read for a reduced token amount, even if you first read it months ago. As ebooks become older, their renewal cost often drops to zero tokens.

*Note: of the Kindle Products only the Fire can read Freading Titles due to the file format limitations of these Kindles.

*Freading is made possible by the Friends of the Newton Free Library
