- The Notable Children’s Digital Media list includes real-time, dynamic, and interactive media content for children 14 years of age and younger that enables and encourages active engagement and social interaction while informing, educating, and entertaining in exemplary ways.

The Excellence in Early Learning Digital Media Award is given by the Association for Library Service to Children to a digital media producer that has created distinguished digital media for an early learning audience.

BPL e-card. Patrons can sign up online and start using all BPL e-resources immediately. Available to anyone who lives, works, or studies in the state.

Families everywhere trust Common Sense for expert reviews, objective advice, helpful tools, and so much more.These resources are either completely free or full of quality free content for kids to explore. Next time your kids are looking for fun, try giving them one of the following picks below. They'll learn while being entertained.


Does your child miss visiting the librarians? We're happy to send a video or audio hello to a parent's email address and sing their favorite song, do a finger rhyme, or send a happy greeting! Email your request to Jean Holmblad at, and we will try to send our hello in a few days!
